Mobile commerce on the rise in Europe
A new study by comScore of the European mobile commerce market shows a healthy growth in smartphone users buying goods and services from their phone.The May comScore MobiLens survey showed that the top five EU mobile markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) nearly doubled over the past year, with nearly a quarter of smartphone users in the UK accessing online retail sites and apps on their device, and 1 in 8 EU5 smartphone users actually completed a retail transaction on their phones.Of the European nations surveyed by...
