Want to ride an 18-foot-wide, 4,000-pound, six-legged hydraulic robot? If Project Hexapod gets enough crowdsourced donations on Kickstarter, you might be able to. Stompy, the robot, is a project designed by a team of students and instructors -- who have experience creating commercial and military robots -- in Massachusetts.
